What have we done?
One of our clients has a major customer who is
on 75 day payment terms - this customer has
an option to pay our client less if they are paying earlier - the spreadsheet we created allowed him to put in
the invoice date and amount and see what impact early settlement would have on
the amounts that he could draw . When faced with cash flow issues this was a really useful tool
to him as he could determine exactly how much he could draw and when to ensure his own
cash flow didn't suffer.
